MAV, which stands for Melissa Anne Vitug was started in 2009 by Melissa’s close friend Jennifer Miguel. Her vision for MAV was to combine Melissa’s dream with her passion which was fashion and style. MAV strives to raise awareness and funds for children and their families who are battling diseases such as leukemia and lymphoma.
We were all honored to be a part of this charity fashion show.

Recently I teamed up with BEECH, a clothing company in La Jolla, San Diego. They feature a lot of cute accessories (no seriously even I’d buy them) and they try to keep the store as updated as they can with cute clothes, handbags, hair accessories, etc...

Another Successful Year for OTD!
Outreach Through Dance is a charitable dance production company that raises funds by producing dance showcases to benefit charitable organizations in San Diego. Recently, they were dubbed to be the ambassadors for the Make A Wish Foundation of San Diego County. Their goal is to reach out to the community to show the power of giving.
This year I was honored to be invited back to be a part of the show. It was a thrill to be in the show for the 2nd year and to meet and change another child’s life. Emely, our wish child, was so cheerful and full of life despite her illness. With the help of Make A Wish, we gave her a show honoring her.

I was honored to speak to the Seniors at Point Loma High to discuss their future endeavors
and how I got started on mine.
It was exciting to see them relate to me and to see myself relating to them. Whether it was music, current events, fashion...etc. I guess even though their generation is way beyond in technology. I know that my generation was the trailblazers in all of that. We paved the way.

Who else can make Pride Festival be more exciting? Duh! Margaret Cho Of Course. This 2011 PRIDE FESTIVAL, I was honored to march with her and be part of the “CHO HO’S” in San Diego.
